Center for Igbo Renaissance
The Centre is conceived to promote the intellectual studies of Igbo culture and to market Igbo culture product internationally. The Center which has Professor Ihechi C. Madubuike as its Director,has played host to the annual Igbo Uturu Cultural Carnival (IUCC) which has been in existence since 2008. The previuos editions of IUCC as organized and directed by the Center for Igbo Renaissance primarily displays and elevates the Igbo Cultural practices. The 2013 edition which is slated to hold on 28th December 2013, hopefully will have State, Federal and International dignitaries in attendance.
