The management of Gregory University Uturu has announced the appointment of a former Head of Service of the federation Engr Ebele Ofunneamaka Okeke as the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council of the University.

Speaking during a special senate meeting convened to welcome the new Pro-Chancellor,the Acting Vice Chancellor of GUU Prof Vincent Imo praised the choice of Engr Okeke for the crucial job stressing that “her landmark academic achievements and rare career attainments distinguish her as an iconic amazon of international repute”

Responding Engr Okeke appreciated the Chancellor and other members of the University management for the appointment,pledging to deploy her vast contacts and wealth of experience to the task of furthering the goals of the institution. Earlier the new Pro-Chancellor had undertaken a guided tour of structures and facilities at the
university.
